UCPD reports aggravated assault at People’s Park
UCPD reported an aggravated assault that occurred at People’s Park Saturday morning, where the victim was assaulted with a glass bottle.
At 11:44 a.m., an unidentified suspect assaulted the victim over the victim’s head, according to a UCPD email. The victim was then treated at Alta Bates Hospital for a small laceration, the email added.
The email described the unidentified suspect to be a 5’8” white man in his 20s with a light brown colored beard, having an average build and wearing a white sweater with a front design and blue jeans. The email additionally asked people to report any information they have related to the case to UCPD.
